Photon’s family of camera laser beam profilers includes the 12-bit FireWire BeamPro in 1/2- and 2/3-inch formats, and the 10-bit 2/3-inch USBeamPro with USB 2.0 interface, along with world-renowned Photon BeamPro software. As with all Photon beam profilers, the FireWire BeamPro and USBeamPro are calibrated to NIST-traceable standards.

Photon also provides a full range of optics to measure both small and large beams. There are beam expanders to magnify smaller beams and reducers to fit larger beams onto the camera arrays.

For laser beam profiling applications involving moderately sized beams with wavelengths from around 250nm to 1100nm, the silicon CCD array is an excellent solution. With any camera array based profiler it will be necessary to attenuate the laser beam to prevent saturation of or damage to the sensor.
